Online Safety is about educating our children in using technology. It is important that as responsible adults we encourage our children to share we us what they are doing online. Children often have the knowledge to use technology as a matter of course, but do not always have the wisdom to use it appropriately, many adults by contrast have the wisdom but not the knowledge. By talking to children about using technology wisely we can help protect them.

Online safety is taught separately from our computing curriculum to emphasise its importance. Each class teaches online safety at least half termly with extra lessons if needed. ONline safety is also embedded within our PSHE curriculum.

The websites below are designed to help you in protecting your children online (although is not an exhaustive list).
